Job summary

Goodwill Industries of South Texas Inc. is seeking a Donations Associate to greet donors, accept donations, and assist with sorting according to program guidelines. The role emphasizes courteous customer service, professional communication, and safety.

You will provide receipts, keep a clean work area, attend required meetings, and perform custodial duties as needed; lifting up to 25 lbs with assistance is expected. Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from the general public and assist in sorting based on established program guidelines.
• Provide donation receipt upon request from the donor.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area that is presentable to the general public and meets agency standards.
• Attend scheduled meetings as required.
• Perform custodial duties as necessary and enforce safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Embrace the core values of the agency in the spirit in which the agency operates at work and in the community.
• Contribute to the fulfillment of department and agency objectives and goals.
• Comply with all department and agency policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
