Qualifications

• Ability to learn and apply donation policies, including acceptable vs non-acceptable items.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, lifting techniques, hazard awareness, and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and organization.
• Strong teamwork and communication with colleagues and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors warmly and assist with unloading donations while showing appreciation.
• Receive, inspect, sort, and price donated items following guidelines for quality and resale readiness.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment and handle donations properly.
• Keep donation area clean, organized, and hazard-free to ensure efficient workflow.
• Document donation intake and report discrepancies to management.
• Support Kaizen by finding ways to improve efficiency and organization.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to adapt to changing priorities.
