Job summary
Goodwill Industries in Philadelphia is seeking a motivated Donation Center Associate to support donor interactions, process donations, and help maintain a clean, organized facility. You will greet donors, sort items, and assist with large-item loadings, while upholding safety and quality standards.
You will learn barcoding and processing tasks, receive cross-training, and contribute to a smooth donation flow in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Able to provide friendly, efficient customer service in a donation center.
- Comply with safety rules and wear PPE at all times.
- Honest, reliable, and accountable with a strong work ethic.
- Able to communicate in English and follow written instructions.
Responsibilities
- Accept donations from customers and ensure a positive experience.
- Label outgoing gaylords and maintain donation area organization.
- Sort donations into correct categories as directed.
- Assist customers with loading furniture or large items.
- Present and obtain customer signature on waivers for furniture purchases.
- Operate pallet jack and forklifts safely; perform daily safety inspections.
- Report injuries and unsafe conditions to store management.
- Maintain clean, hazard-free work areas and dress in the issued uniform.
