Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is hiring a Donation Services Truck Driver Helper in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports the Donation Services team by assisting with pickups, loading, and safe handling of donated goods, and engaging with community donors.

The position emphasizes loading/unloading, pallet jack and forklift operation, and adherence to safety rules. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package after onboarding.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent work experience.
• 6 months customer service experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to be trained and take direction.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Valid Arizona drivers' license and clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Donation Services Driver with residential and business donation pickups.
• Safely load, unload, move, and organize donated goods in the truck and designated collection areas.
• Assist with securing donated goods and ensuring loads are transported safely.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service to donors.
• Follow established procedures for handling donated goods and protecting donor property.
