Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is hiring a Driver to safely operate a vehicle for picking up, transporting, and delivering donated goods in the Phoenix area. You will adhere to safety policies, wear PPE, and maintain vehicle readiness.

Starting pay is $18.87 per hour. Our Total Rewards package includes medical, dental, and vision plans, a 401K, life insurance, EAP, paid time off and holidays. Equal opportunity employer; valid license and clean MVR required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six months intercity driving experience with a 5-speed automatic, 26-foot bobtail, or equivalent with air brakes.
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR and Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a vehicle to collect, transport and deliver donations.
• Safeguards donated goods to prevent damage during shipment.
• Assists with unloading and minimizes damage to donated materials.
• Follows all safety rules and wears required PPE.
• Performs daily vehicle maintenance checks.
• Maintains regular attendance and works to meet daily goals.
• Provides direction to teammates when applicable.
