Job summary

Goodwill of Colorado is seeking an Associate I, Donation Services to be the first contact for customers dropping off items at our Grand Junction store or Clifton Donation Center. You will greet customers and help as needed, including lifting or unloading donations.

This role emphasizes friendly service, safe handling of donations, and ability to work evenings and weekends. Training covers safety procedures, donation flows, and coordination with drivers and other teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of retail experience preferred.
• Able to operate basic computer systems and email.
• Able to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer product questions.
• Unload donations from vehicles or other areas.
• Sort donated items into appropriate bins or production areas.
• Inspect donations for quality and determine placement for sales or shipping.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean environment at donation entrances and parking areas.
• Assist with loading donations onto the truck when necessary.
• Crosstrain in other departments or areas as required.
