Job summary

World Vision is seeking a Donation Processing Subject Matter Expert in the Finance Division to open, sort and process incoming mail, ensuring proper and timely processing of donations. The role will deliver training, maintain procedures, and perform quality control on all Incoming Mail Center work.

You will help carry out World Vision's mission while upholding core values and ensuring accurate posting of donor contributions and cash handling procedures.

Qualifications

• High school/GED or equivalent.
• Requires 3 years of related work experience in remittance processing, office administration, mail room, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Open, sort and process incoming donation mail using remittance processing machines, consistent with established production service level agreements.
• Train IMC staff on proper use of IMC machinery and donation analysis and sorting procedures.
• Maintain and update Incoming Mail Center procedures.
• Verify and balance received cash following established cash control procedures.
• Operate 2-pass imaging remittance system to capture and archive donation data and encode and endorse checks for deposit.
• Support other Donation Processing teams with check transaction processing and donor contributions posting.
