Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is hiring for a hands-on position involving greeting donors, unloading donations, and pricing merchandise. You will work indoors and outdoors, with training provided and opportunities for raises and bonuses.

No prior experience required; safety procedures must be followed. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and physical activity including lifting up to 100+ pounds, standing, and moving merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.

• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks during shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness.
• Report safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• Work indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements.

What You’ll Do

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.

• Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
