Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is hiring for a full-time role starting at $15/hour with annual raises and bonuses. You will greet donors, assist with donations, sort and price merchandise, and help keep the store clean and organized.

The job involves indoor and outdoor work, potential for growth through free training, and benefits through a team-driven mission. We welcome friendly, dependable team players who can stand, walk, and handle physical tasks as part of daily duties,

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Able to lift up to 100+ pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, push and pull throughout shifts.

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks during shifts.
• Track donation counts and maintain store cleanliness and safety; report concerns.

What You'll Do

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout your shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
• Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• You’ll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements
