Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont in Belmont is hiring for a donation processor and retail aide. Starting at $15/hour with annual raises and bonuses, this role involves greeting donors, processing donations, pricing merchandise, and helping customers.

You'll work indoors and outdoors, with exposure to the elements, and be part of a mission-driven team. No experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout your shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
• Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• You’ll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements
