Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is hiring for an entry-level position supporting donations and merchandise processing. You will greet donors, help unload donations, and issue receipts while following safety guidelines.

The role involves sorting, pricing, and moving merchandise to the sales floor, with light custodial tasks and occasional outdoor work. No prior experience is required, and training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks during shifts.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness.
• Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• You’ll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements.
