Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is hiring for a front-line role in Charlotte, NC. The position supports donors, unloads and processes donations, and helps price and stock items for the sales floor. You will work indoors and outdoors, with emphasis on safety and physical stamina.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; teamwork and reliability are essential in a fast-paced retail environment.

What You’ll Do

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout your shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
• Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• You’ll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements
