Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont in Monroe, NC is hiring a Store Associate to help donors and customers while supporting daily operations.

Starting at $15/hour with annual raises and bonuses, the role offers on-the-job training, flexible shifts, and a chance to contribute to community-focused missions through team-based work, lifting merchandise, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout your shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
• Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• You’ll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements.
