Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is hiring for an entry-level role that involves greeting donors, unloading donations, and pricing merchandise. You’ll work indoors and outdoors, following safety guidelines, with opportunities for growth through free training.

Starting at $15 per hour with annual raises and bonuses, this full-time position includes benefits such as medical, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.

• Able to follow safety procedures and handle physical tasks (lifting, standing, moving merchandise).

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout your shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
• Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• You’ll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements
