Job summary

Goodwill-Easter-Seals-Miami-Valley-3 is seeking a flexible retail associate to help customers, process donations, and price donated items for resale. You will stock shelves, operate the cash register, and ensure clean, safe store conditions.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining friendly service, and following agency policies for safety and quality control. The role requires physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasional heavy workload during peak times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Experience in retail sales, cashiering, and customer service preferred, but not required.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
• Greet customers and maintain a cheerful disposition when servicing customers.
• Maintain a high level of customer service to meet agency standards.
• Operate cash register with accuracy for transactions and receipts.
• Inspect donated textiles, furniture, appliances, and other items for sale.
• Receive and handle donated goods from donors.
• Stock shelves and maintain displays.
• Prepare textiles and goods for resale and price merchandise according to criteria.
• Follow safety and housekeeping practices and dress code.
