Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a team-oriented associate to lead a friendly customer experience, receive donations, and guide items to the correct locations in the production room or sales floor. You will help label items, issue receipts, and assist with loading merchandise for customers.

The role requires excellent customer service, forklift certification, and English proficiency. A background check and drug screening may be required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers and provide outstanding service.
• Label Gaylords correctly.
• Ensure a receipt is offered to each donor.
• Inquire about hazardous donations and advise disposal locations.
• Write up sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading merchandise.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization per PPM standards.
• Safely operate pallet jack and walkie stacker.
• Cross-train in other store positions as needed.
• Maintain regular in-person attendance.
