Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Dock Worker 2 to process donated goods and maintain efficient flow for transport. The role requires operating material handling equipment, sorting items for salvage/recycling, and keeping a clean, organized outlet and donation center.

The position reports to the Dock Manager and offers a $13.50/hour pay rate in a non-exempt environment. Responsibilities include accurate bale counts, safe operation of equipment, completing daily paperwork, and adhering to GWH safety

Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a Material Handler or equivalent.
• Proficiency in salvage tracking and reporting.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Punctual and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Process donated goods efficiently to support transportation flow.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and per policy.
• Maintain a clean, organized processing area and complete daily paperwork.
• Assist with rotation of products and proper sorting into salvage, recycling, and trash.
