Job summary

Goodwill Houston is looking for a Dock Worker 1 for the night shift to support the Donated Goods Program. You will process donations, operate material handling equipment, and help move goods to the loading dock while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely in accordance with policies.
• Process donated goods and maintain accurate bale counts.
• Move goods on the dock and assist loading/unloading.
• Sort products into salvage, recycling, or trash per guidelines.
• Maintain a neat, clean processing area and report issues.
