Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a on-site team member in Glendale, AZ. Starting pay is $15.67 per hour. The role focuses on daily operations, supporting onboarding, training, and ensuring a high-quality donor and customer experience across locations.

You will help maintain store standards and participate in process improvements while upholding our core values. Requires at least 18 years old, high school or equivalent, and at least 6 months of customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent work experience.
• 6 months customer service experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to be trained and take direction.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Valid Arizona driver's license and clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Makes routine day-to-day operational decisions within the assigned area of responsibility and communicates issues to managers.
• Helps ensure Team Members provide excellent service and a consistent experience across locations.
• Travels between locations to support business needs, training, onboarding, and program execution.
• Supports onboarding and training of Team Members with guidance, mentorship, and resources.
• Supports day-to-day RDC operations including donor needs, site coverage, and loss prevention.
• Ensures locations are clean, safe, and reflect company and brand standards.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
• Assists in de-escalation of customer situations with guidance from management.
• Collaborates with Transportation, Retail, Home Pickup, Finance, HR, and Learning & Development.
• Supports Team Member development and provides documentation to support decisions.
• Active role in culture initiatives and change management; communicates changes effectively.
• Maintains regular in-person attendance to provide hands-on support.

• Supports donation accuracy with daily counts and audits.
