Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a donation center associate to handle donations and assist customers at our donation site. Starting pay is $15.15 per hour, with opportunities to support the donation center team and equipment operations.

You will ensure receipts are provided, sort donations by type, label storage items, and help unload/load merchandise as needed while keeping the facility clean and safe for all visitors.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to be trained and take direction.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers and provide outstanding service.
• Ensure a receipt is offered to each donor.
• Sort donations by merchandise type.
• Label gaylords correctly for storage and transport.
• Assist in loading/unloading merchandise from trucks or trailers.
• Maintain a clean donation area and report hazards.
