Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) is seeking a store team member to lead an excellent customer and brand experience while promoting sales. You will receive donations, label items, provide receipts, and assist with loading and unloading in a fast-paced retail environment in El Mirage, AZ.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers and provide outstanding service.
• Label items and ensure receipts are offered to donors.
• Inquire about hazardous donations and direct proper disposal.
• Write up sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading to/from vehicles.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization per standards.
• Assist in loading/unloading onto/off trucks or trailers as needed.
• Safely operate pallet jack and walkie stacker.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and follow safety rules.
• Provide floor care at the retail store as needed.
• Cross-train in other store positions as business needs.
• Maintain regular in-person attendance.
