Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Donation Center Associate to warmly greet donors, efficiently sort and price donations, and maintain a clean, safe center. You will assist with loading/unloading trucks and ensure items are staged correctly for processing. Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math; familiarity with current clothing and household items is helpful.

The role requires flexible availability and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, contributing to a fast-paced retail donation environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of current clothing, shoe styles, furniture, toys, wares, brand names, materials, and pricing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with donors, customers, and coworkers.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist donors at the Donation Drive-Thru, unloading donations and placing them in the staging area.
• Sort, size, hang, and price donations before moving to designated staging areas.
• Maintain a secure and safe environment by following safety protocols.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks to move merchandise.
• Keep the donation center clean, organized, and running efficiently.
