Job summary

Goodwill is hiring Donation Attendants to greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and ensure proper donation intake at the Attended Donation Center (ADC). You will help sort items, log donations, and prepare materials for transport to the distribution center.

This role requires friendly customer service, independent work at a remote donation site, and adherence to donation guidelines. Physical work includes lifting up to 50 pounds, PPE use, and outdoor conditions; background checks are

High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior customer service experience preferred.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

Greets donors promptly and provides friendly, professional customer service.
Assists donors with unloading donated items from vehicles.
Pre-sorts donated items into designated containers according to guidelines.
Labels and stages containers to ensure safe and efficient transportation to the warehouse.
Maintains donation logs and records donation activity accurately.
Opens and secures the donation center and completes daily operational reports.
Monitors donation volume and notifies leadership when containers approach capacity.
Assists transportation staff with loading/unloading donations and staging for pickups.
Follows PPE and safety procedures, reports hazards, and safeguards donated goods and site equipment.
