Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is hiring a Donation Xpress Attendant to provide excellent customer service to donors, issue receipts, and assist with sorting and loading donations. The role involves opening and closing the donation center, guiding donors, and adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.

You will work outdoors and indoors, handling donated items up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the donation center.
• Greeting each donor with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Respectfully receiving donations while issuing donation receipts, regardless of donation size.
• Assisting donors with lifting items in and out of their vehicles.
• Sorting donations in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Assisting in loading GICF trucks with donated items as needed.
