Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida invites applications for a Donation Attendant/Store Associate. Under the direction of the General Manager, you will greet donors and customers, process donations, issue receipts, and help with loading items.

This role involves sorting donations, pricing wares, maintaining a clean stockroom, and following safety procedures. Strong customer service and physical stamina are essential; prior retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use a barcode scanner.
• Ability to greet customers and provide assistance.
• Knowledge of textile articles as related to garment classification.

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer with a courteous, professional attitude and provide prompt service.
• Receive donations and issue receipts; assist customers with loading items.
• Sort donations into proper carts or bins and assess donation quality.
• Sort and price hard goods (wares).
• Maintain clean, safe production and store areas.
• Follow safety procedures and assist with emergencies.
• Refer customer/donor complaints to management.
