Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Donation Attendant Store in Centerville (Finance) to assist customers with donated goods and ensure the timely, accurate and safe pre-sorting of donations.

You will greet donors, help unload vehicles, presort by category, label donations, load trailers, and maintain a clean, safe work area while following all department policies. A criminal background check is required. Evening and weekend availability may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Criminal background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to all customers.
• Assist donors by unloading vehicles and handling donations without damaging property.
• Accurately presort donations by category and label accordingly.
• Safely load trailers and keep work area clean and organized.
• Ensure security of company assets and report security concerns.
• Follow department policies and procedures.
• Communicate with supervisor about donation area issues.
• Adhere to dress code and personal hygiene standards.
• Exercise sound judgment in customer interactions.
