Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia in Chester, VA is seeking a part-time associate to assist customers with donated goods and support the donation process. You will help unload donations, presort by category, and ensure safe, efficient operations while maintaining a positive store image.

The role requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with occasional weekend/evening shifts.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED preferred. Will consider a combination of education and work experience.
• No previous experience required.
• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties.
• The associate in this position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to all customers, internal and external.
• Assist customers with donations by greeting every donor and helping them unload their vehicle without damage.
• Accurately presort donations by category and label donations accordingly.
• Safely, efficiently and accurately load trailers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safe working area for associates and customers.
• Ensure the security of company assets and report security or theft concerns.
• Know and adhere to department policies and procedures.
• Communicate directly with supervisor about issues in the donation area and with customers.
• Set a positive public image by adhering to the dress code and personal hygiene standards.
• Exercise sound judgment when dealing with customers and decisions affecting them and Goodwill.
