Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking a Retail Donation Attendant for the Sunset Hills Store to support our mission, Changing Lives Through the Power of Work. You will welcome donors, assist with drop-offs, and ensure donations are handled respectfully while maintaining store cleanliness and organization.

The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Full-time, hourly position with benefits available to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Organized and able to interact with a diverse workforce.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service interactions, including greetings and donor assistance.
• Handle donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated and purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash).
• Notify management of hazardous, valuable, or inappropriate items.
