Job summary

The Salvation Army Orange County is seeking a Donation Attendant for the Fountain Valley store. You will greet donors, stock and organize donations, and ensure a clean, welcoming shopping and donation area.

This position requires a high school diploma, ability to handle POS transactions, and the ability to pass a background check. You will join a team committed to Do The Most Good with flexible full-time schedules.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must be able to accurately handle POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions.
• Must pass a background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and donors warmly and providing prompt, courteous assistance.
• Stocking and merchandising donated items on the sales floor.
• Maintaining store and donation area cleanliness and organization.
• Performing cleaning duties as assigned by Management.
• Following all POS/Cash Register policies in accordance with TSA Policies.
• Maintaining safety and compliance standards.
• Attending monthly store meetings.
• Receiving, unloading, and stocking incoming inventory items accurately.
