Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store Orange in Fountain Valley is seeking a dedicated Donation Attendant to greet donors, stock merchandise, and maintain a clean and organized store environment. You will assist with inventory, help customers, and ensure safety and compliance in daily operations.

The role offers full-time hours with a flexible schedule, and benefits through The Salvation Army program. Prior POS experience and strong customer service skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience handling cash and POS transactions.
• Strong communication with customers and donors.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors and provide prompt, courteous assistance.
• Stock and merchandise items for the sales floor.
• Maintain the store and donation area to keep it clean, neat, and organized.
• Perform cleaning duties as assigned by Management.
• Follow all POS/Cash Register policies and TSA procedures.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards.
• Attend required monthly store meetings.
• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory items accurately.
