Job summary

Goodwill Bryant is seeking an entry-level Donation Attendant to assist contributors, process donations, and keep the donation center organized. You will move materials, issue receipts, and uphold Goodwill's ACE culture in every interaction.

Essential duties include accepting donations, pre-sorting items, moving goods with a hand truck, maintaining safety, and recording daily activity. You will help unload trucks and support team members with distribution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and math skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage tasks.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations by assisting contributors and issuing receipts.
• Maintain a professional, courteous attitude and be flexible with duties.
• Commit to self-improvement and teamwork.
• Treat every customer as a GUEST: Greet, Understand, Explain, Suggest, Thank.
• Pre-sort donations and separate salvage, remove items.
• Use a hand truck to move materials around the donation center and store.
• Accept only suitable donations; politely refuse unacceptable items.
• Pre-sort donations by categories and pack for transport.
• Help unload trucks and assist with distribution of goods.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Complete accurate daily and weekly records as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as required.
