Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking team members to lead an excellent customer and brand experience in Gilbert, AZ. You will receive donations, label items, provide receipts, and assist customers with loading, while upholding safety and organization standards across the store and production areas.

The role requires strong customer service, ability to obtain forklift certification, and passing background checks.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Accepts all donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service.
• Label Gaylords correctly.
• Provide receipts to donors for any donation.
• Ask about hazardous products and provide disposal locations.
• Write up sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading items to/from vehicles.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization per PPM standards.
• Assist in loading/unloading onto/off trucks or trailers as needed.
• Safely operate pallet jack and walkie stacker.
• Conduct daily safety inspections on equipment and follow safety rules.
