Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona is hiring a Store Team Associate in Scottsdale. You will deliver an excellent customer and brand experience, assist with donations, label items, and help move merchandise on the floor and in the backroom.

In this role you will ensure receipts are given for every donation, follow safety guidelines, operate pallet jacks and walkie stackers, and cross-train across store functions. Competitive hourly pay starts at $15.15 with benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations with outstanding customer service.
• Label Gaylords correctly.
• Provide receipts to each donor for any donation.
• Inquire about hazardous items and provide disposal guidance.
• Write sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading onto/from vehicles.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization.
• Assist in loading/unloading onto/off trucks or trailers as needed.
• Safely operate pallet jack and walkie stacker.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and follow safety rules.
• Provide floor care at a retail store when needed.
• Cross-train in other store positions as required.
