Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Tenneva is seeking Donation Attendants to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for donors, help unload donations, and ensure items are handled safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include greeting donors, issuing receipts, sorting items, and maintaining a clean, safe donation site across locations. Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Ability to stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working in varying outdoor weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to donors.
• Assist donors with unloading vehicles and ensure safety of donations.
• Issue donation receipts and maintain daily donor records.
• Sort donated items by category for processing.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the donation site.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations as needed.
• Work at multiple donation center locations as assigned.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and ethics.
