Job summary

Goodwill in Florida is seeking a Donation Attendant to deliver excellent customer service while receiving and sorting donated goods, issuing tax receipts, and keeping a clean, safe work area.

Under supervision of the Retail Store Manager, you will help unload donations, price items, transport goods, meet weekly quotas, and participate in staff meetings, while maintaining reliable attendance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide world class customer service to donors and customers.
• Greet each co-worker, donor and customer in a prompt, friendly manner.
• Assist donors with unloading donations and issue tax receipts.
• Maintain accurate daily counts of donations.
• Report daily donation counts to store manager or system.
• Clean, price and transport furniture to sales floor quickly.
• Prepare items for shipment.
• Sort donated goods into categories for processing.
• Cross train in production and sale of goods.
• Meet or exceed weekly sales and production quota.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality.
• Participate in staff meetings and training.
• Adhere to two-hour floor check lists.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Lift up to 50lbs.
• Transport donated goods to designated areas.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area including drive-thru.
• Report safety hazards and injuries.
• Other duties as assigned.
