The Salvation Army (TSA) Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a no-fee program to assist men & women in their journey to complete our rehabilitation program. Position Responsibilities

As our enthusiastic and hardworking Donation Attendant, you will be responsible for:

  1. Maintaining and cleaning up the area in and around the Donation trailer/pod at the beginning and end of each shift
  2. Assisting the donor in the receipt of donated items from the donor and providing receipt
  3. Maintaining all reports and paperwork as instructed by Supervisor
  4. Separating and sorting all donated material into the proper containers, and properly stacking material as instructed by the Supervisor
  5. Assisting TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as necessary
  6. Informing the supervisor of needed items prior to running out (e.g., brooms, receipts, totes, carts, etc.)
  7. Securing and locking Donation trailer/pod at the end of each shift
Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent required.
  • Must pass background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Effective communication skills with management, store employees, customers, and donors.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, carts, fixtures, furniture, and dollies.
  • Ability to move products weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Schedule

Our stores operate 7 days a week. Work schedules are determined by Management, and employees must be flexible to ensure adequate store coverage. Full-time associates may work any shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications
  • High School or Equivalent (preferred)
  • 1-2 years Warehouse Experience (preferred)
