Job summary

Goodwill - Redwood Empire is seeking a dedicated Retail Associate at the Napa store to provide exceptional customer service while receiving, sorting, pricing and selling donated goods. You will support the donation door, textile sorting, and the sales floor, ensuring a clean, organized and welcoming shopping environment.

This full-time, non-exempt position offers a 40-hour week with a competitive starting wage of $18.31 per hour and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off;

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn
• Ability to speak, read, write in English and count
• Ability to take direction and work independently or with minimal supervision
• Physical stamina to perform tasks for full work shift
• Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Goodwill policies and keep workstations clean.
• Greet donors, accept donations, and offer tax receipts.
• Operate cash register, greet customers, and maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Stock shelves, rotate merchandise, and keep displays neat.
• Sort, grade and hang textile/wares for sale on the floor.
• Assist in driving operations of the donation door and textile areas.
• Provide excellent customer service and remain professional under pressure.
