Job summary

GIRE, a Goodwill affiliate, is hiring a Retail Associate at the Napa store. This full-time, non-exempt role offers 40 hours per week, benefits including medical, dental, vision, and PTO, with a starting wage of $18.31 per hour.

You’ll greet customers, process donations, stock shelves, and help maintain a clean, welcoming sales floor. As part of the Donated Goods Retail team, you will assist with sorting, pricing, and cashier duties, support the transportation crew on site, and uphold all GIRE

• Proven ability to speak, read, write in English and count
• Ability to take direction and work independently or with minimal supervision
• Physical stamina to perform tasks for full work shift
• Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and accept donated goods with care; explain Do Not Accept List as needed
• Offer tax receipts to donors; complete Daily Donation Log
• Operate cash register and manage transactions with accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and workstations
• Support on-site transportation and other DGR team efforts
• Attend location meetings and follow safety protocols
