Job summary

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support store operations, processing donations and merchandising new goods. The role collaborates with leadership to ensure safety, sales, and service standards are met, while aligning with the organization's mission and values.

Responsibilities include meeting daily quotas, inspecting donations, weighing and tallying, and safeguarding assets. Open/flexible availability including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to be trained and take direction.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily quota of 12 Gaylords or more and 1,300+ pounds.
• Inspect donated merchandise and categorize by quality.
• Record and tally weights at end of day for next day prep.
• Safeguard donated goods and report theft or misappropriation.
• Promote a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
• May cross-train as warehouse worker or forklift operator.
