Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Shop Associate to inspect and grade donated items for our Retail stores. You will process stock efficiently, maintain quality, and support daily production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should be comfortable working independently and in teams, with strong English communication and organizational skills. This on-site role includes uniforms, benefits, and opportunities for growth within Goodwill Career Centers.

Qualifications

• Must have clear communication in English and strong interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented for fast-paced sorting and grading of donated goods
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and good judgement in production environments
• Must be 18+ to operate forklift where required

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods
• Process goods to meet daily production goals
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily production goals
• Identify and resolve problems or seek management support
• Communicate effectively with management and team members
• Promote cooperation and teamwork with peers
• Follow training materials and work instructions
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Adhere to safety and security practices and report hazards
