Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking team members to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for sale in our retail stores. The role supports production goals in a fast-paced environment while following standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities include examining, processing, and moving goods across multiple work areas, solving problems, and communicating with management and peers. A positive team culture and safety adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgement.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift (16–17 not allowed).

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
• Process goods to meet daily production goals.
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily production goals.
• Identify and quickly solve problems and/or seek management support.
• Communicate with management and other team members.
• Promote teamwork and cooperation with peers.
• Perform tasks per training playbooks, e-learning, and instructions.
• Maintain a neat, clean, organized work area at all times.
• Attend and complete trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
