Qualifikationen

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) with at least one year of counseling experience.
• Experience in crisis counseling and preferably in residential shelter settings for DV.
• Knowledge of public assistance, Medicaid and other benefits; ability to document case notes.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct, client-driven, comprehensive case management services for safety and access to services.
• Develop client-driven goals and safety, housing, financial and self-sufficiency plans.
• Develop and monitor individualized service plans and assist clients in accessing services.
• Facilitate educational groups/workshops on safety and DV dynamics.
• Conduct intake interviews to assess shelter eligibility.
• Engage residents via individual and group counseling and safety planning.
• Assist residents with housing referrals and coordination with housing specialists.
• Coordinate with URI programs to support clients’ needs (LEAP, PALS, Economic Empowerment).
• Complete duties as needed to align with URI’s mission.
