Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; DV advocacy experience preferred.
• Experience in crisis intervention and victim services.
• Experience with diverse populations and community resources.
• Familiarity with criminal justice processes; high-risk case understanding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention and advocacy to DV victims in community and agency settings.
• Assess high-risk clients and facilitate access to shelter and related services.
• Build partnerships with schools, community groups and faith-based organizations for collaboration and education.
• Deliver educational presentations on healthy relationships and DV topics.
• Promote non-violent relationships and address factors condoning intimate partner violence.
• Maintain confidential client records per agency policies.
• Collect statistics for funding and reporting.
• Attend agency meetings and trainings.
• Maintain and update community resource contacts.
• Adhere to agency policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
