Qualifications

• Team-oriented candidate who collaborates with others for guest care.
• Strong communication with team members and pet parents.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Attention to safety and detail in a busy dog-care setting.
• Prior petcare/animal experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Playgroup Supervision: Overseeing a playgroup of dogs and managing their behavior and playtime.
• Canine Knowledge: Learn animal behavior to provide a safe kennel and playgroup environment.
• Cleaning: Maintain kennels and play areas; clean toys and facilities.
• Daily Care: Feed pets per instructions; provide fresh water and clean bedding; may administer medications.
• Problem Solving: Use common sense to address issues with dogs in care.
• Be Proactive: Take initiative on tasks around the center.
• Work Together: Communicate effectively with team members to stay coordinated.
• Guest Service: Possess basic customer service skills to discuss pets with parents.
• Safety First: Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe environment.
• Must love dogs: Requisite enthusiasm for canine care.
