Job summary

Pawtown Pet Resort Madison is seeking dog lovers who are passionate about top-notch care and teamwork. Starting pay is $12.00 per hour with raises based on performance, with a friendly, safety-conscious work environment.

Ideal candidates are kind, conscientious, and detail-oriented, maintaining a flexible schedule to accommodate evenings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities include supervising playgroups, learning canine body language, maintaining kennel cleanliness, feeding and hydrating

Qualifications

• Team-oriented candidate with willingness to work with a variety of dogs.
• Strong communication with team members and pet parents.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Keen observation to ensure guest safety and comfort.
• Experience with pets or love for animals preferred.
• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Playgroup supervision and dog behavior management.
• Learn canine body language and provide safe kennel environments.
• Maintain cleanliness of kennels and play areas; clean toys and facilities.
• Feed dogs per owner's instructions; provide fresh water and bedding.
• Administer medications as directed by veterinarians when needed.
• Be proactive and take on diverse tasks in the center.
• Communicate effectively with teammates to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide friendly guest service to pet parents and families.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for dogs and staff.
