Qualifications

• Team Player capable of coordinating with others to care for guests.
• Clear, timely communication with team, management and pet parents.
• Flexible schedule incl. evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Keen observation and reporting of guests' safety and comfort.
• Previous petcare or animal experience preferred but not required.
• Comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds.
• Stamina to stand and be active for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee playgroups, monitor behavior and manage safety.
• Learn canine body language to keep dogs comfortable.
• Maintain kennels and play areas, keeping them clean.
• Feed pets per owner instructions and ensure fresh water.
• Administer medications as directed by a vet when needed.
• Use initiative to handle a range of tasks in the center.
• Communicate with teammates to keep everyone aligned.
• Provide friendly guest service and discuss pets with parents.
• Follow safety protocols to protect guests and staff.
• Love of dogs is essential; this role centers on canine care.
