Job summary

Greenleaf Pet Resort (Digs Dog Care) is hiring a Front Desk Receptionist at our Millstone, NJ location. You’ll welcome clients and dogs, manage check-ins/check-outs, bookings, and payments, and provide a warm, helpful first impression for every pet parent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service or front desk experience is a plus but not required. We’ll train you.
• Comfortable using a computer and booking software.
• A friendly, confident phone presence, even on tough calls.
• Organized, dependable, and calm under pressure.
• Takes initiative and works well as part of a team.
• A genuine love of dogs.
• Able to sit or stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable in a moderately noisy setting (yes, there’s barking!)

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their dogs with a warm, welcoming attitude.
• Answer phones promptly and follow up on calls and messages.
• Book and update reservations, cancellations, and grooming and training appointments.
• Set up new client profiles and enter vaccination records.
• Check pets in and out, accurately recording medications, belongings, and activities.
• Process payments and handle cash accurately.
• Give facility tours and help clients choose the right services.
• Keep clients and your supervisor informed about any concerns with their pets.
• Complete the daily front desk checklist.
• Pitch in with other duties as needed
