Job summary

Leidos is seeking a cleared Wide Area Network Engineer (2nd shift) to engineer, operate, and sustain long-haul transport across DoD networks. You will own BGP routing, conduct circuit upgrades, and ensure STIG compliance while working on-site at Langley AFB.

The role requires active TS clearance, DoD experience, and evening shift availability (4:00 PM–12:00 AM) with potential weekend travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience or Master's with 2+ years; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI prior to start date.
DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) plus CCNP Enterprise/JNCIP-SP or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain BGP routing architecture across the enterprise WAN, including peering relationships and route policy enforcement.
Execute circuit installations, migrations, bandwidth upgrades, and site cutovers with rollback plans and minimal mission impact.
Develop and maintain routing policy standards, IP address and ASN allocation plans, and network documentation.
Apply DISA STIGs to routing and transport devices and support RMF assessment artifacts and POA&M closure.
Coordinate with DISA, NOC/SOC teams, transport providers, and site personnel for maintenance actions and outages.
