Job summary
Leidos is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Network Engineer to support installation, configuration, and day-to-day management of enterprise network infrastructure at Langley AFB in Virginia.
This early-career role provides hands-on experience with SSR and 128 Technology SD-WAN, Juniper and Cisco platforms, and DoD-compliant operations under supervision.
You will work on-site, monitor performance, assist with firewall/VPN configs, and participate in change management and incident response.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience; additional years considered in lieu of degree.
- DoD TS/SCI clearance active and current.
- DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification at IAT Level II - CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Assist in configuration, deployment, and ongoing management of routers, switches, and SSR appliances.
- Support design and implementation of routing policies and traffic steering on SSR/128 Technology platforms under senior guidance.
- Monitor network health, latency, and throughput; assist in root cause analysis and incident resolution.
- Maintain network diagrams, inventories, and SOPs.
- Coordinate with senior engineers, admins, and security on incidents and changes.
