Job summary

Leidos Defense Sector seeks a motivated Network Administrator with TS/SCI clearance to support installation, configuration, and day-to-day management of enterprise network infrastructure at Langley Air Force Base, VA.

On-site role involving routing and switching, SSR/128 Technology SD-WAN, VLANs, ACLs, IPsec VPNs, and collaboration with security and sysadmin teams to maintain network health and security posture. Salary range aligns with DoD standards and offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience or a Master’s with 1+ years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain SCI before start date.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II Security+ CE or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP/OSPF.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and manage routers, switches, and SSR appliances.
• Design and implement routing policies and traffic steering on SSR platforms.
• LAN switching admin including VLANs, STP, trunking on Juniper/Cisco.
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP/OSPF across WAN and data centers.
• Monitor network health, performance, and security controls.
• Maintain firewall rules, ACLs, and IPsec VPNs.
• Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle maintenance.
• Keep diagrams, inventories, and SOPs up to date.
• Coordinate with engineers, admins, and security on incidents.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident troubleshooting.
